Flexible integration options
Recruiting software developers implement REX one
of three ways, depending on the environment. REX can be embedded equally well
in hosted and client/server applications.
1. COM API
In COM API integrations, REX is delivered as a COM
object that is accessed by the host application via API calls. In such integrations,
REX is typically run on the same server as the host application.
COM API integration is possible with applications
developed using any programming language that supports the COM specification,
including Visual Studio and Visual Studio .NET languages.
2. SOAP Wrapper
REX resume extraction technology can also be accessed via a SOAP (Simple Object
Access Protocol) call. SOAP integration allows REX to be integrated with any application
on any platform that supports the SOAP protocol.
3. Web Service
EAM delivers all the functionality of REX as a
hosted web service accessed via an easily embedded SOAP programming call. Web services
integration allows REX functionality to be added
to any application, including those that do not support the COM protocol.
Whichever option is chosen, our resume extraction technology is designed to enable
a fast, flexible implementation process. |
